Half are free; average price for the rest is $1.48
The milestone has been registered by a combination of stats from two MS watching sites; windowsphoneapplist and WP7applist.
The former claims 25,015 apps in the US alone, while the latter clocks 24,784 apps worldwide.
Microsoft's store added 3,000 more products in April alone to hit 15,000, and the OS's 40,000 developers are now adding 186 apps a day.
Windows Phone 7 launched on October 26th with 1,000 apps.
One can assume the expansion will accelerate with the launch of new high profile Nokia devices this year, and the roll out of the next version of the platform itself, codenamed Mango.
